Gone downhill since Acorn grew into an Oak Went last weekend expecting the tasty, beautifully presented, carefully thought through meals we've had before. Sat downstairs and it was cold, lots of noise from the kitchen, a bit shabby and needs an ambience overhaul. The staff were all lovely and very attentive. Acorn or Oak? Excellent whatever the name. We visited the Oak restaurant, originally booked to dine out with our vegetarian friends in Bath who sadly couldn't join us due to the latest Covid restrictions. As non-vegetarians we had thought about rearranging our plans for the evening for a meaty
